From The Hague central station do one or more of the following things:
- Take tram 9 to Scheveningen.
- Leave the station:
- Cross the tram-lanes and follow Turfmarkt, this is a street for pedestrians.
- After 15 minutes walking you will see the City Hall (‘Stadhuis’), this is on the corner with Spui, Spui is a large street.
- From Spui you can walk to ‘Gedempte Gracht’ or ‘Grote Marktstraat’, at these streets you will find most shops. China Town is also near these streets.
Center
- Binnenhof: Dutch government works here.
- Mauritshuis: next to Binnenhof. Museum with famous Dutch paintings.
